Through the Decades

The whole university and Aberdeen community is abuzz with talk of the 100th year of Gypsy Days celebration. The festivities are well underway and many clubs and organizations across the Aberdeen area have been busy with preparations, and THE EXPONENT is not exempt.
The Gypsy Days theme this year is “Cruisin’ Through the Decades.” Well, many forget that THE EXPONENT has been there all along, “Newsin’ Through the Decades” (Yes, that pun did just happen).
In honor of all the years THE EXPONENT has been a part of the events effecting Northern, the Aberdeen community, and even the world, this issue of THE EXPONENT includes various clippings from past publications. I hope you enjoy these tidbits of Northern history.
While paging through piles of old bound issues, I was inspired by the history and aged look of EXPONENTS past. So, without further ado, I am pleased to honor the 100th year of Gypsy Days with (drumroll please) the Throwback Issue. We at THE EXPONENT staff hope you enjoy our efforts. Please, feel free to let us know what you think.
